Intervention and ACCESS Manager

Required from November 2021, an Intervention and ACCESS Manager to set high expectations for the students of Kelvin Hall School.  Under the guidance of the SENCO and in collaboration with other members of staff, you will provide support and intervention strategies in order to meet the pastoral and learning needs of identified vulnerable students across both Key Stages.  You will be responsible for the coordination of all pastoral and learning needs for the cohort ensuring that staff and managers are aware of issues, concerns or causes for celebration.

Administrative Assistant

Required as soon as possible, an enthusiastic individual to support with a wide range of administrative tasks across the school.  Your main role will be to assist the school with curriculum and reprographic support.   You will possess excellent communication skills and will be required to liaise with parents/carers and outside agencies, supporting a busy reception.

Experience of working in an office environment and using Microsoft Office is essential.  A Grade 4 qualification or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths is essential.

Pastoral Mentor (Personalised Learning Department)

Kelvin Hall School is looking for a committed practitioner to support, develop and implement our strategies for working with students and families to overcome barriers to learning working in our alternative personalised learning department. We are looking for someone who believes in building strong relationships with students and families and is willing to go the extra mile to support them in being successful both in and outside of school. Under the guidance of the department lead, senior management pastoral lead and in collaboration with other members of staff, you will provide support and intervention strategies in order to meet the learning needs of identified vulnerable students across both Key Stages at Kelvin Hall School.

Attendance Welfare Officer Lead

We are looking for someone to lead, with the support of the senior management team, the implementation of the whole school attendance policy. The role will involve investigating and following-up students’ absence from school and promoting outstanding attendance, whilst working as part of the student support team in safeguarding and supporting students, particularly those who are vulnerable.
